How we quote: Quotes are based on a combination of factors, including (but not limited to) square footage of the area to be cleaned, the types of rooms, the level of dirt build-up, the amount of clutter to be moved by the cleaner(s), the number of occupants living in the home, and the number and type of furry pets. All of these factors affect the equipment needed and the length of time it will take to complete the cleaning.
Why a walk-through?
- A walk through gives us an opportunity to have a face to face conversation where you can sense how well we might work together, as well as discuss needs and expectations to decide if we are a good fit as a client and cleaner.
- It is easier to visualize the scope of the cleaning from the inside. A walk-through insures a more accurate quote, reducing the likelihood the price will need to be re-negotiated the day of the cleaning.
- I will be noting the types of materials installed throughout the home, as each type of material requires special care. We want to be certain we show up with adequate supplies for all materials. I will want to make a note about material type on cleaning checklists to reduce the possibility of damage to sensitive surfaces.
- With your permission, I may test small areas with a non-toxic, fragrance-free, ph neutral cleaner, as this will give the most accurate estimate.

All of these factors affect the equipment needed and the length of time it will take to complete the cleaning.
For reason similar to those listed for residential cleanings, we recommend a walk through for the most accurate price quote.
